proper telepathy/mind reading explanation [SPOILER ALERT]

surface/superficial:
Largely lowkey, serious, philosophical, maybe faintly amused depending on the topic. Focused on said topic. Either highly rigid or extremely noncommittal and ambivalent, attachment difficult.

go deeper:
Bristling frustration, fury, hurt, (yearning), hatred and its aching contrapositive, crazed desperation to understand, all erratic whiplash emotion around one man: McGillis Fareed. (Surface level if McGillis is present). If any words come through, thoughts, they vacillate between why-- and I have to--!!

go deeper/generally:
Whipping between the sense of being a disposable corpse who had failed to reach the person who most mattered and thus it's entirely his fault that they all died //&// intense responsibility, sense of he, Gaelio Bauduin, lives only to kill that man, and he bears the weight of their lives and all respectable emotions and ideals in striving furiously (and miserably) to that end.

go deeper:
Here comes the true mess. After his "death," he was paralyzed and in Bad Shape. He evidently chose to have a modified A-V implant in his neck. This was connected remotely to an AI system containing and very much designed on the remnant brain of the subordinate who sacrificed himself for him, Ein.

This system not only allowed him to walk/took over his body when piloting the Gundam, to fight through him, but the mechanic in charge of all this says for that time, "he's never been alone." Not even once. Gaelio, too, says his subordinate is "very close to me right now," and when piloting, these gems: "Ein, use me as you wish, I hand over my body to you." / "Ein, I'm counting on you. Make him understand!" / "Ein! Use all of me to rob everything from McGillis." / "This battle in which I am not alone."

Word of God says he absorbed Ein's brain (and that Ein's ego died in xyz battle before this), so........... get down enough? If he's alone/lonely? He'll be talking to Ein in his head and feeling responses, real or not. Ein was kind of. An intense guy.
